Hi Gang
Here are some of my "projects" from a while back (before 3 the hurricanes hit here) that I thought you might like to see.

Well gang, what do you think? These are on Marchon Chassis, and we have a ball runnin these on 12 volts. On 18 volts......well lets just say there a handfull. Using diecast race car bodies, makes having something different easy.

How hard is it to put a die-cast body on? These looks really nice.

Hi Anti Cop
I use thick foam centered 2 sided tape. A few of the cars and all the haulers are over 2 years old and the tape is still holding good. Thanks for the question and kind words.

Thanks for the great pics! Love your pit road with all the people. Can you tell me where you got the transporters?

Hi Chet and Dadvball
Thanks for the kind words, its great to be back online. Yes, they are original Matchbox Haulers. I picked them up at various garage sales and 1:1 races over the years. I usually ask the vendors at a race if they have any cars/haulers that have bad boxes. They can usually be had relativly cheap, since the box/card has been wet or otherwise wrecked, thus a "collector" would not look at them. I did a search on "that famous auction site" under "Matchbox Team Convoy" and found several there. The "pit road" I have is from the Winner Circle "Pit Row Seies", those also can still be found on "that auction site", races and some diecast stores. A few years back during Speedweeks here in Daytona, I wound up with a bunch (3 full size conversion van loads) of diecast that had gotten wet, thus ruining the packaging. (some of us (me) will buy damn near anything if the price is right, and it was  ) Some were made into slot cars, when I hade a shop at the local flea market here, some were used for "scenery" on my 2 tracks here at home, and a bunch went to "toys for tots", make a wish, and other charities that help out when families get burnt out, hurricaned, etc. out of their homes and loose everything. That was long before I found this great board. If you ever get to a Nascar cup race, check the independent vendors, usually set up near the track, but not on track property, theres where you will get "the deals". When we get the storm damage finished, I wil finally be able to get to the tracks again and post some photos of both my 72 foot 4 lane and my almost 32 ft 4 lane oval. Thanks for posting!

Hi Gang
Heres a shot of those "people" Dadvball seen in the background. They are the old Winners Circle "Pit Row" series from a few years back. I picked up some more 8 more Haulers here in Daytona this week. ( Its amazing what some of the vendors have in their $1.00 bins  ) Also picked up some of the Matchbox Semi's from the same era at $1.00 each. As soon as I get the tracks and garage cleaned, I'll post some more photos. The haulers can be found on the 'Bay in ths diecast section. Search "Matchbox Team Convoy" and they will show up. You might be able to do the same thing with the Pit Row's in Winners Circle as well. If any of you ever come to Daytona for Speedweeks, let me know and I will hook you up with where to go to find this stuff.
