We had a league last year, will we be doing it again this week? If so maybe we could make it interesting - everyone who enters donates a prize and the top 2 or three of each segment win the prizes? Just a thought.

I don't see an option for the 2005 season yet, just a lil longer. I don't know why they make us wait so long. Ya think they would want the word to spread so more fans can get in. I would think by next week we should see something.

I'll keep checking and when I get a group set up, I'll post it.

Thanks Nova. Any thoughts on giving prizes? I have a few nascar diecast from years back I would not mind donating.

Haven't thought too much on the prizes thing. It would seem that players would almost have to watch every race to stay competitive to win a prize. From the ending of last years race, I don't see many people paying that much attention anymore - including myself.

I'm only watching the races Bill Elliott is running this year. Sadly, there is now only one motorsport I have any respect for any more: USHRA's Monster Jam circuit. So it's "professional" wrestling on wheels, who cares? It's still more real than NASCAR Nextel Cup, and "aero push" is never going to prevent a monster truck from winning a race. Common template monster trucks racing on cookie cutter tracks with bland drivers doesn't seem to be happening any time soon, either.

I wonder how well I'd do running a team composed of Elliott, Lake Speed, Joe Ruttman, Richard Petty, and Buddy Baker for the whole season?
