View Full Version : Dirt oval truck question J ROGERS 02-06-2005, 11:53 AM Does anyone make a left sided chassis for dirt oval trucks? OvalmanPA 02-06-2005, 09:48 PM Kranzels Terminator will work with AE trucks/parts. J ROGERS 02-07-2005, 08:01 PM Oh I forgot to add. I have a Losi Truck. OvalmanPA 02-07-2005, 08:20 PM Check www.dirtoval.com as there was a guy on there that was building a chassis for XXXT parts. XXT on the other hand you are stuck on your own. I built my own LTO chassis with XXT parts. J ROGERS 02-07-2005, 09:52 PM Thanks Rick i'll check it out. mcastor11 02-12-2005, 12:15 AM I made minw a oval truck just by using a XXX. I used the towers, wing mounts and the shocks from the buggy and put them on the XXX-T. Its also on Dirt Oval. com I am not taking anything any from the conversions. But $200 for a kit. You would be better off with a terminator. The good thing about the Buggy stuff is its pretty much at any hobby shop fi you break something. My conversion was about $65 all total. I can set my truck to 1/4 off the ground and it hooks up well. the 1st time out it was loose. Slider 02-12-2005, 09:58 AM There is a awsome Kranzel Terminator.with Pics in the Oval swap.If your wanting to haul on a dirt oval. or for that matter crete. That's the ticket. I took left side XX buggy suspension arms and put them on the left side of a XXT CR GP truck. Mount the battery on the left side of the chassis and use limiters in the shocks. I race on carpet now but I'll be on dirt this summer. It is very competitive with the latest and greatest stuff from AE and LOSI. J ROGERS 02-19-2005, 11:15 AM thanks for the input guys. OvalmanPA 02-19-2005, 08:54 PM Only thing with the different arms on one side, make sure it's legal in the class. We've made this illegal in stock class.
