That's cool...how long are the qualifers for 1/18 and the track is indoor asphault. I was planning on going last year but something came up.
Anthony's 02-20-2005, 10:27 AM The 1/18 will run 4 minutes we run them now on or indoor off-road dirt track and thats what we run. That seems to work pretty good. Hope you can come should be lots of fun.

Anthony's 02-23-2005, 09:33 PM Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a area for pitting bring your own table and extension cord. Larger area than we had for the Showdown. Also plenty of room to park trailers and generators are allowed.
Should be great fun can wait!!
Echeconnee 02-23-2005, 10:28 PM TKO Racing will be there!
David58 02-24-2005, 05:37 PM What are your rules for Legends, the same ones as the Spec RC Racing website?
David
jhseckinger 02-25-2005, 12:16 AM ill be there
Anthony's 02-25-2005, 09:25 AM David,
As far as legend rules we usually run what comes in the box. That way we keep cost down. I looked over the RC Spec rules and everything is fine we have the new steering linkage they have but we run bushings not ball bearings.Thats the only difference I see. Enjoyed you racing with us last week our schedule is now on our we page under Track Calendar.

Thanks,
Anna
David58 02-25-2005, 10:00 AM I have a Legends car that has turnbuckles, better battery plugs and regular old foam tires on it. Other than that it is as it came out of the box. I was just wondering if it was legal. If the tires aren't legal that's OK since I probably need to replace them anyway. :) I started to bring it last week but I figured one class was enough for my first time. :p
I had a blast down there last week!
Thanks,
David

Meat11 03-08-2005, 11:24 AM Hey just wanted to say hello and say Im very interested in getting into rc racing competitively. I live in pooler, ga and am just wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on what class is the most popular in the area, tracks in the georgia area and what startup cars are pretty descent stock out of the box. Im interested in running touring and possibly off road as well. Just wondering what would be the best investment and popular to compete in here. Went to the lake mayer track this past weekend and am just bursting out of my skin to get involved. Thanks-Meat11
Anthony's 03-08-2005, 10:25 PM Have you been by our shop in Pooler? Anthony's Victory Lane its right across from Wachovia Bank. Will be glad to show you around.

Anna
Meat11 03-09-2005, 10:35 AM Very cool, have seen the location but have never had the chance to stop in. 1.Ultra birds are allowed but not required.
2.There is on site power first come first serve. But you can use generators. There is a large area around the building for trailers & parking.
3.Need to bring your own tables.
4.Same as 2 , But several people will be binging tents if weather is nice the building has several overhead doors that can be opened and tents put at the door.
5. Bill there is about 15 motels around .The track is at the Fun Park which is Hwy.80 Exit 102 off I-95.
6. Any 3300's or less.
7. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO YA'LL COMING UP.
See Ya Soon,
