Hi Gang
If they were redialy available, instead of every once in a blue moon on ePay, would you put Aluminum CNC wheels on your A/FX and T-Jet cars? Thanks for your input.

Hi Gang
Thanks for the welcome back Roger & Brian! I thought we would never get back on line after the hurricanes. We were out of work for a few weeks after the storms. Its great to be back! Wish I could take 90% of FL weather (without the hurricanes) and move it with me somewhere else. Heres a "believe it or not" for you, we had alot of roof damage on our home, but my 1973 Winnebago Brave 18 ft class A was parked where it blocked the wind from hitting the garage door, didnt have any damage at all....go figure. All our neighbors made fun of my lil winnie until after the storms when they found out it has a generator and 2 full large propane tanks.:p We had power and were able to cook thru all the power outages, totalling almost 17 days in our neighborhood between the 3 storms. It was kinda like "Green Acres", but we made it thru and survived. Hopefully, when the reapir stuff for the house is out of the garage, I can get the tracks and "fab shop" back up and running.

I would buy those wheels if I did not have to mess with Ebay. too much stress for a set of wheels nomatter how awsome they are.
Anyone have some to sell me?:)

I'm definetly interested in some aluminum wheels.

I'm wondering tho, wouldn't there be an easier way to go about making wheels other then using a cnc machine?????

Well, the old way would be to run them one at a time in a chucker. This is very time consuming and labor intensive. It is all "hands-on". Then you have to deal with the "human" factor and be really good at it for the precision involved.
A CNC is the way to go. Design a wheel, write a program, load your aluminum and they will always come out the same while you drink a coffee and monitor the progess through the window.
(This is a very basic description)

Oh, how I wish I still worked at that machine-shop! :)

Hi Gang
The wheels would have different "styles", also CNC cut into them, for example like the aluminum slot style wheel, a 5 blade style, etc. Hope this clears up what I was tryin to say. They wont be just "plain" wheels.

Hey Larry, I know one style in particular that I'd like to see is a "Weld" "Super lite" drag style wheel........those would be kick ass for so many muscle car HO slots.

Are these something you're considering working on?

Have you heard from Gary in a while?? I've been wondering how he's doing.....to bad he doesn't hang out online :(

Also, any idea as to when you might get back into casting again? I know a few guys wanted some of your bodies after seeing what I'd done with the two you gave me

Hi Brian
I talked to Gary a while back and he said to say Hello. Hes doing good. The Weld style is one of the styles were looking at. I'm exploring "some options" right now, but it looks good, at the moment. Its going to be a while yet before I can start casting again, but I will cast more bodies! Were still busy at work, and with Speedweeks going strong, there might even be more work with the Petty Driving Experence Car at Daytona USA.
