I'm looking for the old Airwolf and Blue Thunder models from the eightys. The Blue thunder is a Monogram but I'm not sure what the Airwolf one is. Any info would be great, thanks!

Really? I knew they would be hard to come by but they where two of my favorites back then and I would love to build them again. maybe I'll check e-bay :drunk:

Airwolf is/was an AMT kit. I believe it only had ONE release. There was some rumors that RC was supposed to re-release it one or two years ago but cancelled it. So the original kit - if you can find one - will likely to be very pricey. Good luck!

Hobbycraft does a 1/48 Bell 222B. I've been told (although I can't prove it) that it is a copy of the AMT kit. Some of the kits had the Airwolf parts included; most don't. I am finally repairing/finishing my Airwolf kit and I will be raiding or swapping some parts from the Hobbycraft 222 to replace badly damaged parts (landing gear and some rotor parts). The Hobbycraft kit will gain a landing skid from a 1/48 Huey Hog to make the Bell 222UT.
