Just got this e-mail message concerning Auto Art price upgrades...WOW!!!
Kinda rough to swallow!

Auto Art Forces Price Increase
Auto Art has just forced all dealers to increase their prices to within 10% of their suggest retail. They were holding all shipments of new product until compliance was verified. Below is a summary of our old price and the new compliant price. As you can see it is quite significant. Product released before 2005 is not affected. All preorders are under this new pricing structure effective immediately.

1/43 scale was $29.50 now $31.45
1/43 scale was $32 now $35.95
1/43 scale was $39.50 now $49.45

1/18 scale was $47.50 now 58.45
1/18 scale was $49 now 62.95
1/18 scale was $49.50 now 62.95
1/18 scale was $54 now $67.45
1/18 scale was $58 now $76.45
1/18 scale was $64 now $89.95

1/12 scale was $329 now $449.95

I'm not really into Auto Art subject matter, but THAT is a big increase. Exoto did the same thing when they moved to the Middle East.

Big jump in the 1:18 scale..!
Lane and Supercars are still my favorites..hope they don't jump too high in price..
Seems the lower numbers draw more bucks though....expected..
Hwy61 has got some nice items at excellent prices and quality..

I'm with you on Lane and Supercars, and include as one of my favorites GMP! Bang for the buck tho...Hyw61 makes a great product, with excellent detail!
