Can't remember if I've posted this before, but the 1970's Animated Star Trek is coming out in DVD in March.
I never got to see this the first time around so it will be like a new series for me. From what I've read, after TOS got cancelled, Paramount realised that they killed the golden goose and tried to revive it. But being cheap (the sets were dismantled, lost etc), this was the next best solution.
I'm really looking forward to this, as the last few Trek outing have been...hmmm..dry...although I must admit that Enterprise under Manny Cotto is getting better.
