28 ton swisher log splitter wont stay in return position ,only has 3 hours on it, anyone have any insight on how to adjust ? it will stay about half way then it pops out ,thanks in advance

With only 3 hours of use I would suggest taking it in for warrenty repair.

im the one doing the warranty work on it , i think i will just replace the control valve,

Check the control valve on it. It should have a 4-way, 3 position valve in it if it is a double action cylinder. Most of them are not adjustable, but taking apart the valve and checking it shouldn't be a big problem (just relieve pressure on the system). It may just have a piece of metal or something inside the valve from where it was machined. I've seen it happen several times on new hydraulic components.

yea verry simple has adjustment but i just cant get in the sweet spot thought there might be a trick someone might have come up with i had it apart its clean , if i run the engine @ like 2200 it will work right but @ arround 26 it pops out , the customer was in a hurry for it as usual i guess he will have to wait on a new one
