View Full Version : Hot Cases question? ruckapitbridge 01-25-2005, 07:01 PM Does anybody here use these? Prices is kinda high compared to the Target tubs (various sizes to choose from) which I use, but they seem to stack really well. I wonder how many JL card these will hold? NovaSS 01-26-2005, 01:33 PM Check out the Inserts, kinda cool. High price tag for foam though. b_bodylover 01-26-2005, 04:58 PM Does anybody here use these? I was thinking of buying some but wanted some user opinions first. thanks guys!!! http://www.hot-cases.com/ Hey there, First off, let me say that I am in NO WAY affiliated with Hot Cases and that I do use them. Though I do know Scott personally, he is an extremely stand up guy, a real class act, it has no bearing on my belief that these cases are worth their weight in gold.. Scott has put a lot of time into this product to get it to where it is now. These cases are BY FAR the BEST way to store you're cars. They, hands down, are superior to anything else that you will find for protecting your investment. They are built stronger, keep out pests and the elements and stack better than anything else I have ever tried. If you're not using these, you're collection WILL become damaged over time. Believe me when I tell you, once you have tried them, you'll never use anything else. I feel that they are well worth the price. Howdy there StreetFreak, Hot Cases are built so much stronger than anything that I have ever seen at Target, it's ridiculous. Side by side, no comparison. The only drawback, if you want to call it that, is the fact that Scott designed these for Hot Wheels only, therefore, carded JLs will not fit. Though with the new foam inserts loose cars should be no problem. Now and then, I put the bug in Scott's ear to come out with a Hot-Case that would work for the various sized JL cards, but for the foreseeable future it doesn't look promising, due to the cost of tooling, preproduction testing costs and other related factors. Bummer for those of us that collect JLs as well as HWs. :( Charlie Bugzy 01-26-2005, 07:18 PM They look great..!! a superior way of storing carded Hotwheels.. thanks for the link...great product..! gunn 01-26-2005, 07:59 PM i like the foam inserts ruckapitbridge 01-27-2005, 01:50 AM yea im sold on the foam inserts. I may buy one just to test it out. I use the target tubs too and I agree they work just fine. I was just looking for something for the loose cars and found this website. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
