I am pleased to announce that Allen and I are planning some fantastic events for the up-coming 05 Dirt season.
One the biggest Outdoor Dirt Oval races of the year will be held at Allen's R/C Speedways, and that event is the

1st. Annual Illinois Dirt Oval Summer Nationals
Saturday July 16, 2005
Pracice At 11am racing at 2pm.

And with working with Allen on several events last year, I feel that his location, personel, and on-site hobbyshop, are up to the task of hold this outstanding event.
He has a great track, pit's, lighting,and puts on a professional event bar none.

The dates , times and classes will soon be posted, and flyers sent out.
So stay tuned, for this race and other excitng events this dirt season!

Nitro Sprint?

Don't Remember If Any Showed Up This Last Year, A Couple Of Us From Rjd Are Ready To Try Them On The Big Oval.

Any Chance Of An Edm Class?

Maybe Same As Nitro Tour?

I thoght there were 2 or 3 heats of Nitros last year. And its just called Stock and mod. No difference in bodies. I know a couple of us ran trucks with wedges and EDM's.

You guys will really like Allens Facility. Its Located 10 minutes easy of Springfield,IL just outside Rochester,IL. The oval is super fast, and will be even better this year. Classes are yet to be determined. But last year At Allens Fall Classic race, we had a great heat of Gas Sprinters, Todd Johnson,Eugene Rider,
Dan Dolbert Ect...
EDM's will probably go into a Gas Mod class and a Electric Mod CLass.

I have heard quite a bit of talk from several different guys about running nitro sprints this year,and with Murray making Allens track even better then it was last year I am sure it will make for some great racing!!!

post the classes asap please. I really enjoyed the nationals during the summer. still have the same 12 year old car i won with this summer.lol
