Anyone watch the Nineth Gate last night on SciFi with Johnny Depp?
I didn't understand the ending? Can anyone elaborate?

rent the DVD and watch it . the way Scifi ch cuts stuff up to cram in all those ads you really didn't see the Ninth Gate .

So spoil me. Can you explain what ending was with Johnny Depp walking
into the sun meant? Granted, SciFi cut it up but nothing happened in
the end except Depp finding the house.:confused:

i think he was going back to find the girl . the missing print , found on top of the old case when the workers were moving it, looked like her . whether she was a minion of Satan or what ever , i think she got her hooks in him .
skeptic turned believer ? who knows . probably just a plot for a sequel .

You really should watch this more than once. Lemme just say that the poor book buyer's fate was pretty much out of his hands by the end of the movie - he went "all the way" with the Whore of Babylon and there's no turning back now......I just love the ending to the picture, the tone with which it's handled is exquisite and the closing music is as haunting as it comes.

the score for this movie was great . really set the mood through the whole thing .
yeah , Gruff , i think he was in over his head from early on . it's like he pretty much knows but can't do anything about it .
