Anybody else watching this? Gotta love the sci-fi veteren cast, tonights episode alone had Capt Kirk, the original "Stargate" professor, the original Lara Croft "Tomb Raider, Constable Odo, S.A.L. 9000 from 2010, evil Professor Hathaway from "Real Genuis", and the alligator-loving granny from "Lake Placid".

Shatner even got to utter a line that would be right at home in some of his non-Trek earlier horror and sci-fi fare.

"No government group or agency is going to stop me from taking my brain back!"

I like it but I don't like the "musical laughtrack".

Its the bestest! (Is that a word?!)

Its on late here so I tape it and watch it the next day. Some of the lines are so funny that I re-wind them and watch a portion again!

I got quite the hoot out of the time the other lawyer, I can't remember his name, put a picture of Denny with Saddam and a honkin' huge knife in Denny Crane's briefcase to delay him at the security check for a legal proceeding!!

This show is the only legal show I can watch. Spader is actually so likable as a sleeze (w/a heart though).
I actually cant watch Star Trek TOS because I cant stand Shatner (IMHO he took bad acting to a new level.) but I love him in this show. Him and his "Denny Crane" line is usually spot on to get a chuckle out of me.
I watched "The Practice" at the end of it's run when Spader was added so the show had me hooked before it turned into Boston Legal.

Yes, he is fun to watch in this show. Nobody does Shatner better than Shatner (sorry Jim Carrey or Kevin Pollack). ;)

I still can't decide if this is the performance of Shatner's career or just really good type-casting, or maybe a bit of both...

Either way he's hilarious!

My wife was a loyal "Practice" fan till the end, I used to surf, build, etc while she watched it, Spader & Sharon Stone didn't get me interested in the show, but I had to watch every Denny Crane Appearence.
