I just finished up 4 new tjets. Take a look at the Xcelerator-Blazer. I'm wondering if there a pick-up shoe that will allow me to run a truck-dunebuggy tire in the short wheelbase lower axle hole? Right now, the shoes are not making enough contact due to the taller wheels. I do like the look though and want to keep the body intact. Using the higher position hole the body is too high and using the forward low position hole just brings the tires too far forward. Any help will be appreciated.

BTW, the other 3 castings are from Claus Heupel in Germany. They are his El Dorado, VW Van, and a Puma Coupe (now a convertible). The chassis under the Caddy is a blue-blinker from a Bauer 17M Police Car. When you run it, the blinking light is inside the body and looks like an unmarked cruiser with a
light flashing up on the dashboard. dave

tjd, What pickup shoes do you have on the truck? Original NOS T-jet shoes should work. HTH

BTW... The cars look very nice... Gotta love Claus's casting work.

What about soldering pickup braid to the shoe step like others have done for hot racers? rr

Thanks for the ideas guys. Sorry my reply is so late, my wireless connection is acting up lately. As for what shoes are on the Blazer now, just the stock tjets. With the taller tires in the lower holes, the don't make enough contact on the rails. I guess there are no "stock" solutions. So, I'll try to fiddle with the ones I have. Maybe I can lengthen them so as to give them more up and down travel. dave
