Anyone know where I can find them at a decent price, or have one they wish to sell?

JGG1701 01-23-2005, 07:34 PM ebay usually has a buy-it-now price ... fairly decent. KyuMan 01-23-2005, 10:56 PM Yeah, they're twice retail. Just desserts for someone catching on late. I'm sure those guys don't want to give out any discounts (only one replied with an emphatic NO). I guess I'll just have to wait until November for a re-release... KyuMan 01-23-2005, 10:58 PM By the way, how many different versions existed for the original show? My memory of the "Making of Star Trek" wants me to say three, one with the handle the same color as the body, one with a black handle, and one with a white handle. Is this right? I was thinking about getting two or three and painting the handles different colors. Eagle 18 01-23-2005, 11:25 PM Actually only 2 versions during the original series . 1st was the semigloss black P1 and P2 with gloss white handle .Also there was no side rails on the P1 as well . The later version can be accurately done using Krylon Shadow Gray on the P2 , zynolite primer on the P1 and Dark bronze metallic for the handle . These colours were described in a article in one issue of the Star Trek Communicator magazine by a Hollywood prop maker that examined an actual hero prop from TOS . vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
