Does any one know how many retro tire cars are out :confused: .Can someone please the list of cars.

What do you mean by 'retro tire' cars ? If you mean the wheels , only a couple cars in the first release had wheels like old vintage Matchboxes . All of them since have had ugly mag type wheels on them . There has been 4 - 6 releases so far . 6 cars each release . So about 30 cars so far ...

CORRECTION..............THERE ARE TWELVE CARS PER RELEASE AND THEY ON WAVE E RIGHT NOW, SO MAKE THAT ALMOST SIXTY CARS YOU HAVE TO COLLECT..............:) JUST HELPING OUT...................

there are only 4 of the new re-issue Superfasts with the old style wheels..

the green 68 Cougar

white 66 VW bug

Ford GT-40

and 65 Mustang

the only others that don't have the yuk-y wheels are the 2 2005 Corvettes, that came with rubber tires, a blue one and a black one

There were only the 4 retro vehicles done by Matchbox.

These were all available in the first mix of Superfast, and were supposed to look like the original transitional Superfast models from 1970. Rhis is why they had the retro looking wheels. All the other 71 models in the Superfast series will have the other type of wheels except the Corvette C6 chase car which has rubber tires.

The 4 retro vehicles were also used as the Hershey dealer set in different colors so there are 8 models in total; 2 of each.

Thanks for the correction . I like the Hershey Orange Cougar much better than the yucky green one with the red interior !

How would one obtain the Hershey dealer cars??? I want them!! Someone please email or PM me!!

It may be difficult to get the dealer cars. There were only 300 sets (each set contained one of each of the 4 models) produced, and all were given to those at Hershey who had tables, apart from a few that were auctioned off in the evening). Some sets appeared on ebay after the show, but recently I have not seen any mention of more appearing.
