Had to share this..

My Wife in at a coinfrence this weekend and I had my track down as we are thinking of moving.. well Women think guys drive and slot car oil is sweet.. So my daughter and I stood the door up in the spare room loaded some track on it and began driving around, bouncing off walls etc..I spoke about two Porsche 935 bodies I picked up In North Texas at some discount store for a buck.. well I had one semi mounted on a Tomy chassis , was not the most secure thing in the world but we decided to take it out for a rip anyways lol.. about ten laps in I guess air took over and I have never seen a bodie float in air so long. Guess you had to be here.. lol.. but I dang near made it back around the track before it landed. My daughter is truely a slot head now. ( Maybe when she grows up it won't take her 6 months to buy a house!!!) I just want enough room to rebuild my track from the early 80's a door core is ok in a pinch but nothing beats a 11 foot straightaway.. lol

yea, that movin gets old. it discouraged me from setting up any slot or train layout. now that we got our house its wide open.my wife gave me the living room 24x16 and sold the furniture. aint she sweet. her car is the LL exide car as you can hold the trigger and it wont fly off the track. she makes some cool buildings out of doll house scaps and helps me make trees using twigs from our back yard. she rides a pretty nasty bike also. so, all in all, its good. she does hate it when i blow a bill on ebay tho. she just brought us home a couple large used tyco sets in which im laying out a large 4-lane. she knew we needed this when our friends come over. Think Ill keep her.

Dude, you had better keep her AND buy her a new slotcar or build her one to match her favorite 1:1 car! I have a neat gal like that too. She now has a scooby mystery machine slot. :) (well...she wanted one)

Keep'em happy and the world is your slottrack.

hahaha.. this is so true.. My Wife looked at me with Disdain when I dug up all my old stuff. and started, hmm spending a few dollars.. But I took your advice and Bought her a Baricello Ferrari as she is a huge F1 fan like I am.. So now its cool and she even considers me having a tiny bit more room as she drags me from builder to builder...thats why I want the Stewart F1 also.. its his first car. LOL
