If you are interested please e-mail me ASAP, THEY WILL GO FAST. speeddog@mindsync.com (speeddog@mindsync.com)
Seems like alot of money??
philb1 01-15-2005, 07:44 AM Supply and Demand............. what better to dyno those $15 brushes on!
OVAL4EVER 01-16-2005, 03:41 AM I have used a CE dyno before, and though it is usefull when you understand it, I wouldn't pay $495.00 NIB for one, let alone another Grand to boot!
well someone will buy them, I'm sure, but unless you run full modified it is a waste of money in my book, even at half the price....not etailed enough info..and slave motor wear has to be taken into account.
Rich Chang 01-17-2005, 12:28 PM Wow.. $1500? For that money the dyno better have a function to tell me how to gear my car plus how to set the suspension up. :D
50 * $1500 = $75,000

hankster 01-17-2005, 12:54 PM Rich... for you it better drive it too
sizmr 01-17-2005, 01:14 PM any pics of this million dollar dyno anywhere on the net?
Rich Chang 01-17-2005, 02:12 PM That's for sure! :D It should also charge, peak, match, and solder my battery packs together. Heck, I think it should also paint my bodies.

Rich... for you it better drive it too
Al Spina Fan 01-17-2005, 03:08 PM Hello.....Is Anyone Home???? Wake up kids, these have been selling for over $1,000 on ebay for months. If you have one, it is worth far more now than ever.
Rich Chang 01-17-2005, 03:12 PM Well, I'm not a kid so maybe that is why I cannot wake up and why no one is home.
I've had an ebay search that mails me daily of any new compeition electronics devices and I have yet to see one referring this new dyno.

DynoMoHum 01-17-2005, 04:33 PM I think he was refrering to 'old' TurboDynos selling for $1000 on ebay... Apparently some have lately (at least a one or two have had auctions end at that price)....
Most belived it was a abnormality. I also had heard the selling price of a newly built one was going to be $1000... but I wouldn't pay that much for one. I do however wish I still had mine, so I could sell one at that price.
If that becomes the going price for a TurhboDyno... then it sure makes a brand new Robitronic dyno look like a bargin... Or a used one... Yeah that's it... Anyone want to buy a Robitronic Dyno? I'll sell you mine for $700...
Rich Chang 01-17-2005, 04:36 PM Well, shoot, if that is what they are going for, I'll sell mine for $990 shipped. Comes with the printer and 12 rolls of thermal paper.
-Rich
"Frank Ulbrik" 01-17-2005, 04:41 PM Just put mine in for sale section for $800.00... like new.
Al Spina Fan 01-18-2005, 11:24 AM Rich,
The reference to kids was just a figure of speech. Sorry......
rjm70 01-20-2005, 12:11 PM sounds like a rip off to me $1400 for dyno please. of course there r suckers burn every day..

ShortHanded 01-20-2005, 05:43 PM OK, here is the skinny straight from CE (i'm not affiliated):
> new turbo 45 dyno is $1045, new thermal printer is $145, shipping is $15
if someone is charging $1495, they are gouging, not CE
Rich Chang 01-20-2005, 05:51 PM Anyone have pictures of this dyno?
ShortHanded 01-20-2005, 05:53 PM it is a Turbodyno 45, exactly the same, case guts and all maybe someone has a picture of their's
gezer2u 01-20-2005, 11:21 PM I wonder what kind of a discount they are giving to dealers? That might be the differance. The price was statedabove as "about $1495." so the final price might be less. The owner of Speedworld is a standup guy. I don't know what the details are as to his price so I won't comment on that.:)

FASTALJR 01-23-2005, 06:51 PM I have a mint fantom dyno with a busted laptop I`ll autograph it too:wave: for $2000.00. LOL
jerrit1 05-04-2005, 03:49 PM I bought this CE TurboDyno 30 (30 AMP model) about 2 years ago for $325 shipped with printer.
I sold it off eBay 6 months ago for $870 plus shipping to Australia. (see attachment)
The fact is, CE TruboDyno's are the best electric motor dyno there is. period!
I wish i didnt sell it, but I had bills to pay.
If the dyno said it was a hot motor then it was hot on the track, no guessing!
CE could update it to a 45 AMP model, but I race only stock so no reason to.
go read "big Jim" Greenemeyer's motor forums here: http://www.rccars.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=19
he will set you straight on the TurboDyno...no other dyno even comes close to it.
This is why I am going brushless!!! Ralf 13
PITBULL 05-05-2005, 12:54 AM :thumbsup:It looks like I'm going dynoless..lol
You can still find good deals on them.. I bought one last week shipped to my door for 375 with a printer.
Track is my Dyno..cost just the entry fee.
Besides we should run a brushless class is FOCAR..
Right Katfish!! LOL
I just got one off e-bay TD-45 like brand new for $400.
