I have seen the POSTMAN a few times now, its been a year or more since the last time and I just watched it and I must say.....dang! I do like this movie!

In the past I have heard some folk say "It's just Water world on land" but I would not compare it at all.

Agreed. I really did like this movie and don't understand the whole "it's 'Waterworld' on land" crowd of detractors. Haven't read the book, but hear the book is better than the movie, which, to me, means the book must rawk!

Way better then Water World. Seemed a little on the long side the first time I watched it but certainly not so much now. It's no where near the the list of worst movies ever made.

I keep telling people "Stop reading those dang books....you'll enjoy the movies better" :p

I'm with Fluke - if you've gotta read the book, do it after you've seen the movie. Learnt that from reading Hunt for Red October before seeing the flick...
