I can be there by 1:30. I like the new rules. One time late last year you started @ 12 and that put it a little tight for me. If nothing bad happens I'll try to be there.

The weather channel keeps upping the temps for Sunday, we are set for mid to upper 50's and rising. Mid 60's would be nice. I hope the Valdosta boys make it up for a little action as well. Even though we are slack this time of year we (Andy and I) get to go and do some of our best racing of the year from December to April, be it in Branford, Jacksonville or Daytona we have a blast with a lot of great racers. It's nice to put on a show up here every once in a while during the off season (weather permitting) just to stay fresh on the home turf. Some of you guys have been asking about the schedule and it is posted @ www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk

Read the footnotes next to the dates for all pertinant information concerning points ect. Also I will be getting info up on hotels and such for the Southern 500 very soon so you can start making plans to attend.

See y'all Racing Sunday!

Cliff Had a good time!!! I can take an a!@ whooping with the best of them!!!

Donnie.... tell Sammie again that his car looked great, sorry we cut out so quick. Long ride home and we had some problems with the truck on the way up,,, and the way back too.

Cliff the new format was interesting. It definatly kept us moving. I didn't realize how quick the hour went by, played catch up on charging batteries all day. Next time will be better prepared when charging.

yea the new format seems to work well for everyone and yes you really have to stay on top your batts but there is no question about when they need to be ready. Sorry to hear you had vehicle problems, hope it wasn't serious. The only other thing I am going to do is put a clock on the outside of the scoring booth when we are racing so everyone is on the same time. I figured that the new format will work for up to 8 heats with 2 minutes in between and room for 4 minute grace periods per hour and that is if all the races are 5 minutes long. We still need to work on the turn marshall thing some but we will get it together I am sure. I am working on the FL/GA points series particulars and will have it all posted on my site soon. Scott has requested that the break out down there be set @ 7 seconds, so it will be 6.5 here and 7 @ Branford.

Ya I would have ran open stock but I didnn't have much time to work on my car after I broke the T-plate when I was out there practicing. You diffently only have time now to run one class.

You mean to tell us that after all the guffaw you are going to try and run them slugs? Try 24 degree timing and gear the snot out of them. If they burn your finger after the race you almost have the gearing right. Put another tooth on it and dont touch the motor. It will be hotter. Strange thing about those trinity hand out motors is the stocks have killer magnets and the 19t's have poop. If they put the same mags in the 19t's they would be world beaters for the money. On the other hand I've heard through the grapevine that some guys have run as much as 50 degrees of timing but it burns the comm real bad. Yikes!

The Southern 500 is coming up soon as well on Memorial day weekend. I know the NORRCA NATS are the same weekend but we have run this race on the same weekend for the past 14 years and the organizers knew this and picked the same date anyway. All of the entry information and hotel info will be posted soon under southern 500 nats thread. I will also get some directions and hotel info up in a couple of days for the season opener on this thread.
