Howdy everyone,
This is a post I made over on the 1/43rd board but thought some of you all might be interested
Well its time we kicked this can and got our first 1/43rd Artin Proxy race going. Feb 18 - 20th Feb 18th Qualifying. Feb 19th Artin Silverado 250. Feb 20th Artin RTS 500.
Rules All cars must be recieved by 3:00 PM Feb 18th with entrance fee. Entrance Fee is payable by PayPal or Check/MO to:

Entrance Fee is $3.00 per car maximum cars allowed per entry is 3 per race. Entrance fee pays for shipping cars back to entrant.
Plaques will be awarded to the winner of each race.
Race will be run on a 4 X 8 Ed Bianci low banked magnetic braid oval. Timing and lap counting will be TRACKMATE.
Artin Silverado 250
Older narrow Artin GM Silverado Body and Chassis
Narrow wheeled chassis with 3/4 traction magnet.
Chassis, wheels wheels axels and gearing , and body must be stock. Tires may be trued. All four tires must touch the track. Light bulb may be removed
Maximum width 1.488 inches
Body must have 3 numbers one on Roof, and one on each door.
Trucks will be driven for 3 laps with best lap time recorded for qualifying
Race will consist of each Truck being driven on each of the four lanes for 242 second on lane one, 242 seconds on lane 4, 243 seconds on lane 2 and 243 seconds on lane 3 for a total of 250 seconds. The finishing position will be based on laps and track position.
Artin RTS 500
Artin Race Truck Special Trucks these are trhe newer wider track trucks. Chassis , and wheels axels and gearing must be stock . Tires may be trued. All four tires must touch the track. Body may be lowered and lightened. Body must have front and rear Artin black glass however side class may be removed. Lightbulb may be removed, headlight glass may be removed.
Maximum width 1.715 inches
Body must have 3 numbers one on Roof, and one on each door.
Race will consist of each Truck being driven on each of the four lanes for 500 seconds on lane one and foour two 242 seconds heats on lane 2 and 3, two 243 seconds heats o for a total of 500 seconds. The finishing position will be based on laps and track position.
