This Bullit Nosed Studebaker Custom is from the Ertl "Highway 61" Series and comes with alot of WICKED detailing.

Highly detailed exterior and paint finishing.
Detailed interior includes real carpeting, highly detailed instrument cluster, and manual floor shift. Glove compartment may open, but don't think I'll be trying that!LOL
Special hinges on doors and hood hing to act like real thing.
Front grill has real screen detailing.
Front quarter panel vents actually open & close.
Engine compartment is fully detailed with dual air cleaners, plug wires, hoses, realistic battery, and even windshield wiper motor.
Door wind wing windows rotate open & closed.
4 way rear window is nicely detailed.
Detailed chrome rims actaully have rubber valve stems.
Dual or split drive shafts rotate as rear wheels turn.
Full length dual exhausts are hung separate from detailed chassis.
Car comes with dual ended plastic tool for opening the various things and also includes a cloth for dusting car off.

I'm confused. Is this made by the RC2 Ertl division, or is it a Highway 61 piece? Regardless, it's awesome!!!

Its a Hwy 61 car . They made several Stude customs .

So this is the Studebaker you mentioned...just got my first view of it...!
Lots of detail....Sure is a beautiful paintjob on this one..!

Highway 61 has no association with RC2 Ertl. Highway 61 was started by a group of former Ertl execs who got the axe whan RC2 bought out Ertl in 1999.
