I just did the mapquest its a bit longer more like 5 hours....but might see if I can fit this one in, not sure though that is the weekend after the ARCOR open, I usually take the week off after a Nats, due to burnout, LOL

the race on march 25 & 26 ... is it a hand out motor race?

some of our racers would like to come over for this event.
ontario is three, maybe two and a half hours from massena, we race on sundays, so we are thinking of making the road trip over to race.

Mapquest usually figures you will be doing about 45mph, so I would assume Adam's estimation to be correct.

Ok, so who'a gonna be at this race, and who is going to be there to run modified next week for practice?

mikemurphy
02-24-2005, 03:44 PM
Any chance there might be a modified 1/12 class? I've heard this track has run it in the past - actually I thought 1/12 was going to be a mod motor at this race until I saw the entry form. Any interest? (Pete D., Rocket Miller, CRC gang, ??) I'll bet I could bring 3-5 guy's including myself from the Albany area....

I just wanted to thank Pete D'Agnolo and his father Sam for all the help this weekend. My modified car wasn't far off all night long, but Pete made it his personal responsibility to make sure I got fast. The car by the end of the nght was the best it's been, and I am looking forward to coming back up on the 26th to run modified with the big boys. Hopefully I'll have something for you guys, but Pete is always tuff. See you guys in a few and thanks again.

02-28-2005, 06:57 AM
Tom, right now it looks like on the 26 I am going to have 6-7 guys coming including me and my dad. Made a list of thing I need to buy, so I am gonna get on the phone and get that taken care of today. I start moving this weekend, so I have to get the car buttoned up this week, which shouldn't be a problem. Great run last night, as long as the car stays that smooth you're the man to beat in Stock. It was great seeing everyone again and I can't wait to make it back up. Take care.

Brett, Glad to here some more of the PUTNAM crew is going to be in the house. I won't be there on Friday, but will be there when the doors open saturday morning. I think, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but runline is 165 with an infield width of roughly 10-12 feet? Somewhere in that area. Where you staying, maybe we can get some guys together and all go out for breakfast together, what do you think? -Jeff

Hey boys there is a big race going on in Cornwall Ontario March 19th Pratice March 18th should be a good showing with lots of big racers making the field lots of fast door to door action on the fast Tri - Oval. Great door prizes including a brand new KSG that will be given away....... If you have been to Platsburgh then Cornwall is only about 1 and a half hours away north of there.

Take care boys

Fountain
