went to upload some pictures to post on the Johnny Lightning board and it says I exceeded my limit for today. is this something new??

I upgraded the photo album software today and they have a new "feature" that allows daily limits to be set. The limits aren't set in stone so I am trying to figure out what is fair. How many did you upload and how many did you want to upload?

I uploaded twelve the night before and I was trying to upload another 12. I post pictures of the new Johnny Lightnings as I get them in so the guys can see the new stuff. I went back this morning to upload them and it was going to let me except it says I am over my limit by 1,665.4 KB, I now only have 1,000 KB where before I had 5,000 KB

OK, I made a few adjustments. Here are the present limits

Regular Members
Disk Space - 2Meg
Single File Size - 100K
Daily Limit - 10

HobbyTalk Supporters
Disk Space - 10Meg
Single File Size - 500K
Daily Limit - 100

We want to encourage members to upgrade to becoming a HobbyTalk Supporter and give them some value while still offering regular members a free place to display pictures.

Is there anyway I could go back to the old limit? I kind of miss having all that disc space. I'd be willing to pay more. I ended up deleting 1/2 of my pics, which really hurt to do.

kinda odd.. today the "reply with quote" image is missing.. and when i upload it keeps sayign "page" not found. hmm

uploading pics doesn't work at all. :(

Give it a try now. Once the software was upgraded I needed to reset and then save the new settings. I never saved the new settings so the software was rejecting everything. Give it a try now... it should work.

Please let me know if there are any issues... that is the only way I know if something is wrong. Limits now are as follows:

New Members (Less then 2 posts - helps eliminate those that just come to disrupt things):
Can not upload

Members:
5M disk space
100K per upload
10 uploads per day

HT Supporters/Lifetime:
15M disk space
1M per upload
100 uploads per day
