Hey guys,
From what I have heard from everybody I will not get aluminum arms for my MF2 because that will weaken everything else..........But I notice that a lot of people with XXXT's have aluminum front and rear hubs, front pivot block, rear pivot block,..........Would any of those be bad to put on my truck? Would it weaken anything? Any input is appreciated.........

It's not so much that it will make the other parts weaker, as it will create more stress on those parts on impact. If you hit something, the stress of the impact has to go somewhere. If your arms won't give, then the stress will be moved to the next weakest point.
With hubs & pivot blocks, these work the same way. It's just that it's a whole lot easier to replace an arm or turnbuckle, than it is to replace the pivot block. I personally would rather have pastic hubs though, because it's easier and cheaper to throw away a seized bearing in a plastic hub than aluminum.
Basically it's a maintainence issue, because if you hit something hard enough to break, it will break somewhere. Just stop hitting things and you won't have to worry about it. LOL ;)

Any time you increase durability in one area you create potential for breakage in other areas. ALuminum Fornt and Rear Pivots are a good investment for your XXXT. Other than that, MOST Aluminum parts will transfer stress to other parts in the event of a collision causing them to break instead of the aluminum part. ALSO, they increase weight.
Aluminum Arms can also bend and cause handling problems. You can try to straighten them, but you will never get them back to their true postions.
Hope this helps.
