I am looking for a model AMT put out in the late 60's. It was a glow in the dark ship shaped like a flattened out cone. It had a shuutle bay on top with a scout ship in it. If anyone has any info on the whereabouts of one, Contact Ed Baxter at stargaze@pulsenet.com
Thanks!

The kit you're looking for is the" Interplanetary UFO Mystery Ship", also released, originally, as the "Leif Erickson". When AMT needed a kit to round out the box count of their Star Trek kit assortments in the early 70's, they included the glow in the dark re-release of this kit.

Because of its rarity, this one usually goes for exhorbitant sums when you can find it at all, unless you get very lucky, but if you can live with a smaller kit, and just want the design, you can order a garage kit of it for about 20-30 dollars.

Rattrap, Thanks a million for the accurate information! I really appreciate it. My original kit fell prey to a fire cracker so now I'm kicking my butt! I would be happy with the smaller version of the kit. Would you happen to know what brand garage kit name the smaller vessel goes under? If you do I would really appreciate it a lot! If you get time & it's convienent, Let me know what the name is so I can order it.

Thanks a lot!!!

My old glow b/u had bb gun damage and I think I still got around 80 bucks for it on the 'bay. Must be a tuff one.
