Real Race has one included in their game http://www.realrace.com/controller.html that looks like a convert Futaba ;)

But I -think- it only works in THAT game only... I could be wrong.. dunno.

I used to go to school with alot of EE majors.. they can do some nifty stuff with RC+Computers... one place you MIGHT want to try is where all the engineers surf.. Check the comp.robotics newsgroups. There are programmable PIC boards that control stepper motors, servos, etc. that don't cost very much. try
