Our 5th year of the South-West Tour Series (http://www.southwesttour.com/)gets underway February 26th at the Encino Velodrome (http://www.encinovelodrome.org/)in Southern California. The Velodrome has played host to NATIONAL Events and more noteably the old R/C THUNDERDROME in the late 80's and early 90's held by McAllister Racing and Dan's R/C Products.



This historic facility is a high banked concrete bicycle velodrome nearly 1000 ft. in length. Speeds can reach over 60 mph in the
Modified classes and the racing can be breathtaking.



If you've never raced on a velodrome, you should at least once. There is nothing quite like it.

We're only about 6 weeks away from the seaon opener at the VELODROME~

The "TOUR" kicked off the 2005 season in February, and after a wet weather delay we got round 2 in at Bakersfield's RACER'S HAVEN RACEWAY March 26th.

Up for the month of April, we'll be heading to Camarillo's FREEDOM PARK RACEWAY.
