Santa brought me a nice 25-engine 4x4 off-road monster truck... "Hong Nor Megalith". Anyway, after two days of racing in snowy weather, I thought of something to help with the dirt and sand shoved in every possible place on the truck.
Is it possible to devise an underside chasis cover, perhaps out of cardboard or plastic or the like, that I could attach across the lower chassis plates just to cover the center gearbox and rear diff from the onslaught of debris?
It will be a bit on the ghetto-side... But I'm a complete noob to nitro truck racing. So I want to know if something like this is concievable...

Pictures attached to show what I mean.

Please advise me, I don't know whether something like this is possible..

Well, I made a cover, on the bottom and sides of the chassis... didn't help much. Snow and dirt was everywhere.

That truck is known in the states as the "OFNA Titan." (Just in case you didnt know) I; however, can not help you on the cover. Sorry.

You could do a cover like that, but it will actually catch and hold as much junk as it deflects & what it holds onto will be harder to clean out than if you didn't use it. Unless you shaped, formed, and sealed it, it might not be worth it.

Ah, thanks for updating me. Yes, I'm now in Russia and the truck was bought here.

What are the general opinions on it? I think it's great, althoug I've only driven Kyosho Nitro before this.
