"Deep Impact" Messiah Released!

The 1:200 Messiah comet-buster from 1998's "Deep Impact" is now available in the Fantastic Plastic Virtual Museum Store!

Deep Impact Messiah 1:200 Resin Model Kit by Fantastic Plastic Pre-Order - Fantastic Plastic Models

This massive kit was designed in CAD by Scott Lowther and cast by BLAP! Models. Photo-etch steel components are by Paragragrafix, decals by Canuck Models.

The Messiah sells for $275.00 plus shipping. Note: Shipping costs can be high for international buyers, as we're talking 5.3 pounds of resin goodness!

This was certainly a more realistic ship to go comet busting.

In contrast to the Bruce Willis movie where NASA just happened to have 2 specially built shuttles that were perfectly equipped for the job.
