I like the final result. A different interpretation of the original design.

Thanks Xenodessy; I wanted this to be something of an "evolution" for the Eagle, like a "2." version or such.

In any event, I'm currently working on a base as well as the glass for the cockpit. We'll see how that goes, but I think it's safe to say that this model is about 3/4 finished!

Update- cockpit glass and stand:

I used an old stand to simulate a lunar (or in this case, just about any other planet if you paint it) surface. I plan on doing this in mars-surface colors, as if it is taking off from a strange planet. The "thrust" is hot glue surrounding the support strut for the original stand. I'll be doing the thrust from the front of the ship, I just need to get that down as how to do it. The model is still removable.

I got the cockpit glass in; at this scale, I wasn't going to try for a full-up interior, so I just fudged it and put glass in.

Stay tuned...

Okay, these are the final 2 posts in this topic ...

The base is finished, with a new support strut and more appropriate exhaust for the Eagle. Aside from that and the addition of exhaust for the front vertical engines, the model is set.

With that, the last batch of pictures of the Eagle 2.0:

Thanks; I admit that when first building this, I wasn't sure how it was going to progress. I'm happy to see this as a finished model now, and quite pleased with the results.
