Race 1 - October 19 & 20 - Red Mosquito Raceway
; Batavia, OH - We'll open the new season where we ended last season; at Monti's place. But things will be different as Monti is hard at work on improvements including grinding the floor to make the racing surface as smooth as possible.
Race 2 - November 16 & 17 - Prolevel RC Raceway
, St Louis, MO - For our second race of the season we will be returning to Prolevel RC. Drew will again be providing food for our racers on Saturday night and Sunday lunch.
Race 3 - December 14 & 15 - Thunder R/C Raceway
, Nashville, TN - As Christmas approaches, we'll head to Music City for a second year. Robert Dirla hosts a number of big races annually and we're expecting a great event again this season.
Race 4 - January 11 & 12 - Summit RC Raceway
, Fort Wayne, IN - The new year bring us back to the recently made over Summit Raceway. One of the shorter tracks on the schedule always produces action packed racing.
Race 5 - February 15 & 16 - Revolution Raceway
, Oshkosh, WI - Our only new venue for the year returns us to WI where the only thing they like more than their racing is the Packers.
Race 6 - March 8 & 9 - HobbyPlex
, Omaha, NE - On the schedule for every year of the BRL, we make our annual pilgrimage out West to the wide open plains and wide open spaces of The Plex.
BRL National Finals - March 28-30 - iROAR
, Vinton, IA - Maybe the epitome of the BRL, a nice wide temporary track in small town Iowa. Home of the largest crowds in the series more years than not, and the first place I ever ate a walking taco. The concession stand will be hopping, and it might even be warm enough to let the kids play mini-golf all day next door.
On the subject of schedules, we will be revising the weekend race schedule. Tracks will have the option of allowing Friday night pit setup and registration but there will be no practice on Friday nights. We'll be revising the Saturday schedule to add another round of controlled practice to partly compensate for the lack of Friday practice. This is a return to the schedule of the original season of the BRL. This is a change that may help some of the racers some of time by reducing the need to take a full day off from work on Friday. While Friday night practice wasn't mandatory; most competitive racers felt they needed to be there.
