Hope to see more talk on here of people wanting to run the asphalt.....
I was thinking of going to Quarter Scale next year. But if we can get enough people to run the Asphalt I would consider getting a 5th scale FG road car instead. So in order to keep the asphalt track alive lets get some more people talking and coming out to run.

I heard Bill and Steve are both supposed to come out this Saturday. I'll check with Harold and see if he can get ahold of Mike.

Practice at 9:00am, store opens at 10:00am, racing at 11:00am.

Can't wait to see how the new outside track wall works, it makes it easier to judge where your car is, which means faster speeds!

Well had a good time Saturday. Ended up with 2 cars needing fixed but they will be ready in 2 weeks. Hope to see even more people show up next time. Sounds like there may be more people getting interested in the 5th scales. Hope to see the class grow more. 1/8 scale LM not looking to bad. still would like to see more of them. 1/8 road course HAD A BLAST running. Took the heat races to get a bit of a grip (have not run road course in a few years). Running against Eric C. is always fun.

SEE EVERYONE IN 2 WEEKS..
PLAN ON RUNNING
1/5 OVAL
1/8 LM
1/8 ON ROAD.....
will most likely have 2wd sc lm with me if needed.....

I was amazed that all 5 Large Scale cars had 10 sec. qualifying laps! It's great that 4 completely different cars, Rovan, HPI, RedCat DuneRunner and RedCat Rampage were that close. It came down to the cleanest driver winning.
I didn't see Bill make a single mistake, of course part of the time I was chasing tires that fell off my truck!
That may be the first time since we opened that I was able to run both Heats and the Main. Even though I lost a tire, TWICE, and was T-Boned by Steve, had a great time!

Next Large Scale Race: Sept. 21st

The first two Asphalt races there was a 60% chance of rain, we didn't get a drop! Luckily it usually goes north or south!

See you Saturday!

It was dry until 8:15am, has been raining since!
We'll have to get feedback on a rain date for the Asphalt.
The Truck/Tractor pullers are running this morn. inside, regular indoor racing at 3:00pm
