Racing inside tonight!
We'll turn the lights on outside for practice tonight, see how the temp. feels to see if drivers would run/race outside below 50 degrees.

A few of the Large Scale drivers have asked about racing outside Sat. before the indoor racing at 3. If the weather/track is dry, we could start at noon, run 3 heats and Mains and be done by 2:00! 30 mins between rounds is usually plenty for the gas cars! We could do this all winter if the weather/track is dry. If we can get 4 or 5 cars we'll do it!

We should be less than 60 day's out for our Large Scale Dirt Oval and Offroad opener! With the lights already up, look for a night race or 2 also. Normal entry fees are $15 first class, $5 each additional. Large Scale drivers receive their 2nd class Free. We run 2 Heats plus Mains, both Oval and Offroad.

Store opens at 11am, sign-up until 12:30pm, Saturday racing at 1pm. Outdoor track opens for practice at 11am on W-Th-F and 9am on Sat. All new layout this year, stay tuned for details!
Questions; 724-376-2379

Had a growing class with the "RedBull" RallyCross format last year, Joker lap and all! We'll run it this year as an additional class if the interest is there! We expect it to be a growing class with a complete, RTR, gas 4x4 car selling for under $500! Just add fuel and go!

The last "RedBull" Large Scale race of the year saw 6 cars finishing on the same lap with less than 4 seconds from 1st to last!

Dirt Oval will change this year, 1pm start time, track will go from 220' x 110' on the outside to around 140' x 75'.
We'll keep you posted on track "work day's" on the outside tracks. Looking at doing a special deal for drivers with Nitro's and Large Scale's this year, maybe; "Your 2nd class is FREE if you race at least 1 Nitro or Large Scale Class"!

Good turnout overall, 80 entries, but, only 4 Large Scale on the clay oval.

Great first Outdoor Event! There are a few minor adjustments we'll make to the track, most drivers said "Don't change a thing!". Fast laps were low 30's with the fastest "Official" lap going to Justin Boory 29.075! The first Nitro race had 8 A Main drivers running 20 minutes, Andrew edged out Paul at the end by just a couple seconds with Mitch finishing 3rd. The "Box Stock" RedCat Buggies did have some challenges, but, managed 5th and 6th place finishes 1st time out. Pro 4wd SCT was amazing! Randy edged out Ironman by .3 at the line, Justin just 2 seconds back in 3rd, with Erich & Jeremy just seconds back in 4th & 5th! Jeremy won Truggy with Denton and Randy just seconds back, Jeremy did several clean back flips on the big triple! Erich won 1/10 4wd buggy followed by Ironman and Andrew just seconds back in 3rd. Pro Escale ran a 10 minute A Main, with Mitch, Paul, Denton & Randy trying to lead. Denton finished 1st with Mitch 3 seconds back, Paul 3rd and Randy 1 second back in 4th! Very close for a 10 min. race! The Large Scale gas cars brought out the spectators, Bill was TQ with his Losi, Huey had fastest lap with his Losi. It was Lenny for the win and Ron in second with the gas RedCats, both Losi's having mechanical problems. Spec Sprints were almost as fast as any other cars with mid 8 second laps, Colton ran the single fastest lap on the Oval, 7.421 in Unlimited 4wd!
See ya' next week!

Great racing today, thanks to all who attended! Was awesome to see the 1/5 scales on both the Oval and Offroad! At one time had spectators in their cars pulled over at the top of the hill to watch!
New track record by Dewey McCauley!
Results coming soon!

Large Scale Dirt Oval and Offroad run every Sat. at 1pm

Was a Hot one on Sat.! Had around 50 entries which made for a laid back event. The humidity helped keep moisture in the track, we watered at the start of each round, ran the Offroad classes, watered the Oval, ran the Oval classes then started over again. Was a little wet for the first class and was just getting dusty for the last. I think we'll try to add more hoses so, it's easier to spot water the dry parts. Large Scale Offroad was awesome with the BIG Losi's almost 20' in the air over the triple, Bill ended up first with his 2wd Baja 5B. Colton won EScale with several sub 30 second laps, Tyler finished 6th overall in the RedCat Nitro (1st Nitro to finish). Colton also won 4wd SCT with Randy and Erich going back and forth for 2nd just a few seconds back! Erich won 1/10 4wd, Randy won Truggy. It was Goliath vs. 2 Davids in 2wd Buggy! Jerry and Sean running 1/10 2wd electrics, Bill starting 3rd in his 1/5 Gas Baja 5B. Bill took the lead on the first lap, but, Jerry and Sean carefully got by to finish 1st & 2nd, all 3 Buggies running almost the same fast laps. Large Scale Oval was great with 7 cars for 7 minutes, Lenny continues to be Undefeated in the class with the Redcat DuneRunner, Bill 2nd in the 5B, Ron 3rd in the RedCat Rally. Lenny the Gas lap record 7.8, Dewey set the new single lap record for electric with a 7.32, and Nitro with a 7.6! Spec Sprints was won by Bill, Jerry 2nd and Lenny just a couple seconds back in 3rd!

Large Scale Dirt Oval every Sat. 1pm, this week Wed. 6:30pm Large Scale Dirt Oval too!
Last Wed. night, Indoors, Kevin set a new "Single Lap" record; 4.413 seconds. The warm, humid weather makes this prime time for record breaking. Saturday was a great time, didn't seem as hot as last week. 11 cars in the EScale A Main, Denton won followed by Erich and Paul, Paul had the fast lap; 30.8 seconds. The RedCat Nitro's finished 1 and 2, they were the only Nitro's running to make the Main, Both cars getting faster, Tyler running laps in the low 30's, Jakob in the mid 30's. Both cars still completely Box Stock - RTR with just the addition of a fuel filter and Alum. servo horn on each car. The stock tires seem to work pretty well the track! 1/10 4wd Buggy was won by Paul followed by Erich and Ironman, Paul faster with the 1/10 than most of the EScales! Denton won 2wd buggy followed by Jason and Sean. The Hulk was first in 2wd SCT, Logan won Sportsman Offroad followed by 24 Racing. 4wd SCT was a great one Ironman came off the triple on top of Bill and stayed on the roof of Bill's truck for several feet after! It was a great battle between Erich and Ironman, at one time side by side over the triple, making contact 10' in the air and both drivers landing clean, side by side on the down ramp, ironman won it with Erich right behind. The Large Scale Gas cars continue to draw a crowd! Sean qualified 3rd first time out in the RedCat Rally and had a great run going before losing a tire, Bill L. and Bill W. also looking strong, but, it was Lenny again for the win in the RedCat, Bill in the Losi a couple seconds back. Lenny remains undefeated this season! 4wd Oval went to Tim Taylor, Gene 2nd them Dewey. 2wd Modified went to the Hulk, Sean 2nd then Gene. Lenny won Spec Sprint , Bill 2nd, Tim 3rd, Spec Sprints just a tenth apart in fast laps! Regular racing this week, we'll try OUTSIDE WEDNESDAY if the weather is good, Saturday at 1pm, Trophy race July 2nd!
