Mad Max Interceptor coming!

No pics yet, but it's announced for Hollywood Series 17! That's one I've definitely wanted to see made!

ZA3 Collectibles News & Info

I'm looking forward to the '65 Lincoln as well. I don't care about it being from The Matrix, it's black and that's the perfect color for that car so I'll definitely have to have one.

Will be cool. Love if they do both Mad Max and Road Warrior versions

Ordinarily he was insane, but he had lucid moments when he was merely stupid.

Can't wait for the V8 Interceptor. Only took about 40 years. Would love to see the two black versions, and the original yellow one, too. Maybe even some of the yellow Pursuit cars. I remember seeing the original movie, and they showed all the Pursuit cars, with Max at the side of the road. Then the camera pans to the back of his car and it says, "Interceptor". I think the whole movie theater cheered. I never understood why this car was so scarce, while the Batmobile, Back to the Future, Bandit, Ghostbusters, General Lee, etc. were produced like crazy. The AutoArt ones are insane prices now and scarce. What did Greenlight do that HW and JL couldn't?

I have never been more excited for a casting than this one. Summer can't come soon enough.

I never could figure out why it's been so hard to get this one made either. I can see where the detailing might be hard for 1:64 but I would expect it to get simplified because of the small scale anyway. Maybe it's a licensing issue? I don't know, it just seems like with how many people have been asking for it that it would have gotten at least attempted by now. I'm glad Greenlight has it, I can see them doing it justice. I'm definitely in for any yellow Interceptors as well, I'd love to see them all made.

Even though they really made no sense, I still think the MFP AMX JL did a while back are really cool. Here's an old pic I took of mine in action...

I've never seen this movie, but I'm hoping it allows GL to do a normal Falcon XB.

The main differences are the roof spoiler and front nose clip if they do the clean version. The nose clip would be a bit of a problem unless they could maybe mold it in with the baseplate instead of the body.

They can keep the roof spoiler, just lose the Opel Monza (?) nose.

I would imagine they'd do it the same HW does, start with a CAD drawing of the stock vehicle and then modify it as needed (this is what HW did with the Kaido House Z and Fugu Z, same CAD drawing as a base, with different mods).
