Hi,
me again :)

Some of these I can figure out:

Sorry, no idea. A pic would help.

Capacitor, 0.47µF, 600V (as long as there is no "DC" or "+/-" on it, it should be AC; take a good look to be shure!)

Pics sometimes help, when figuring out, what is what. I can't guarantee my interpretations are correct, but they should be.

ok, i have been playing with them and i know that caps when they have power they shock the $h!t out you. but i can seem to get them to do so. i have used both ac and dc. then again i might be touching the wrongs end or something. idk i will look in to it, as for pic's my cos rolled the drag car over the cam over the hollydays so it will be some time before i can get a hold of a cam. but will get to pics up as soon as i can

OK, just so you know:

If it says DC, don't use AC!! Polarized Capacitors can be damaged with AC, or, in extreme cases, can even explode. It may not be dangerous to you (but it could!), but if one goes up, you can smell it. So maybe do it outdoors.

The other thing: to test a capacitor, just charge it with 12V DC and use a resistor and LED to discharge (the calculations should be found on any electronics knowledge base website, that's worth anything). With small capacitors you should use a scope, so you can see the charge/discharge curve.

P.S.: Please don't try anything with mains voltage!! It is dangerous and can kill you, if you don't take the proper precautions!!

I know what they all are, but since you don't it also means you don't know how they function (or any potential hazards). That begs the question of what difference does it make to you what they are? If that much curiosity is just burning a hole in your brain, enroll in some electronics courses, and they'll be more than happy to teach you anything you want to know. That's what I and a great many others did.
