Street Outlaws

Got these in the mail the other day....

(don't know why Murder Nova was done by Johnny Lightning, but the rest are from Greenlight. Missing details; motor, exhaust)

(don't know why Farmtruck has such small slicks and no mud flaps)

(ok, I can understand why they didn't do an open motor design like the real car, extra casting)

(and it looks like Big Chief broke an axle on that last burnout, also missing details, like the exhaust and rear spoiler)
Lummox and 5thGenCamaro like this.

Interesting about the Nova, must be it had something to do with reaching contracts.

I like the sleeper idea behind the Farm Truck. Seems like they did a decent recreation, the rag
gas cap, beware of dog sign and missing door trim are a nice touch. Unable to see from online pics,
does it say Farm Truck on the front grill? Also curious about the other side that cant be seen in
the package. Not having the correct rear tires does hurt though.

I am liking the Nova! How does it compare to the Black Pearl series cars?

The truck is a must have.

Cars ain't bad but can't see paying the price being asked and not have the cars look exactly like the show cars.

yes, the farmtruck does say FARMTRUCK on the grill. Can't see the passenger's side of it.
I don't have any of the black pearl series to compare the Murder Nova to.

And, yes, I will admit to a bit of buyer's remorse in paying too much. I like the show, so, they're still cool. And of course, I had to have the whole set. Just don't see why they couldn't have added details like rear spoilers and wheelie bars. Even using tampos for the exhaust outlets would have been better than nothing.

You sound like me over Initial D related cars.

Maybe they can make it up to you by releasing Crowmod, done right.

The Crowmaude is a poor attempt to cash in a heavily re-worked race race.

The 1:1 and the 1:64 have little in common.

Doesn't qualify as an adult collectible to me. There again, if the kids like it, than so be it.

The diecast is an attempt to present the Crow which was a 72 Le Man's. The Crowmod is a firebird promod race chassis.

I'm saying they should do the Pro-Mod Firebird/Crowmod with all the details intact, to make up for missing all the little details that make the other Street Outlaws cars look off compared to their real life counterparts. They owe ECchopper.

I was wondering if they were ever going to do these. Kinda disappointed that they're basically re-paints. The Farmtruck looks promising though.

It would be easy enough to add bigger tires to them, and with enough digging, I could find or fabricate the other missing parts. If I wanted to open them. And, yes, it would be cool to see Doc's Monte. Do the whole line up. (but with details)
