My Primo Stash

So, this will be an ongoing thread for all my premium castings from various brands. HW 100%, Tomica's various premium lines, Kyosho, Aoshima, GreenLight, M2, etc.

More to come...

Nice stuff. Never seen that white Mustang Coupe. GL? I have a police version in my collection because never seen a non-police one.

Ordinarily he was insane, but he had lucid moments when he was merely stupid.

Yeah, I removed the police livery because I have no use for cop cars. As Stangfreak has mentioned, GL hasn't used this casting except as a police car; the white, royal blue and navy blue releases are all suitable for cleaning up though.

The wheels were stolen from an extra BB Civic.

Are the lights glued in on top or did you have to fill in the holes?

Ya don't gotta be a rocket surgeon to figger that one.
And thankfully you help keep this tired old place from flat-lining completely.

These releases were all slicktops. I've never filled a GL since I don't want to bother with respraying one. My 80s Tomica Prelude was a cop car that I had to fill the holes for the lightbar. It also donated the lightbar to my Liberty Walk Shakotan Kenmeri Skyline, sadly it's not quite right since the real car is a 4 door model, but it'll do.

Nice cars, I thought at first it was going to be all FoMoCo but then it started to venture into other territory. All very nice looking. The Greenlight Fox-Body Ford Mustang Notchback is almost a shoe-in for their Muscle Car series or as a drag racer as many bought them as LX notchback hardtop models instead of a hatchback with the 5.0L 302 V8. This was the cheapest way to go fast with a 1987-93 Fox-body Mustang instead of buying a GT which was a tad slower due to extra weight along with the GT lower body moldings.

I can't identify the red/black car with gold wheels next to the 1977-ish Firebird Trans Am. Is it a Nissan or Toyota?

As they said, it's a Nissan Skyline DR30 from Tomica Premium. ^-^

Also, I need to get some new pictures.

This car, plus the Toyota V engine would have been a great combination. Sadly the Crown 8 was discontinued at this point, and never offered as a coupe anyways. This is a 1968 Crown coupe.

The green one is a Nissan Laurel C130, it's a platform mate of the C110 Skyline. The Crown coupe might be a pretty big car by Japanese market standards, the '71 Cuda makes it look pretty small. Combined the Laurel and Crown have 2000+2200cc of displacement, the Cuda has 7000cc. Even my imaginary V8 swap only gives the Crown 2600cc instead of 2200.
