Really, really awesome pics... Love seeing these in 1/64th scale...
There is a guy,Michael Paul Smith, who does scenes like this in 1/24th scale. His work is extremely impressive. I have always enjoyed his work in this era as well...

The 1st pic really nails it because any of the toy-like attributes are obscured
by the heavy contrast.

Very nice!

yes very nice photos.................. My 6 year old grand daughter just asked me if I grew up in the black and white days. I told her we had colors back then but the cameras only took B and W photos.. She said no when all the old people lived and are dead now like on the TV shows. I just told her no I was not that old

Unbe-FREAKIN'-lievable!

1/64 scale??? I've never seen a lot of those cars in 1/64! And the buildings/street scenes! Holy cannoli! Incredible...

I had to smile as I read your post. I did grow up in the black and white TV era of the '50's (my family did not get a color TV until something like 1972. The youth I work with, of course, think I am rather ancient (only 62) but it is fun to share with them about those days of starting life in the '50's. The pictures that are in black and white truly bring back some neat, neat memories and are much appreciated. Fortunately I have at least one version of most of the Racing Champions cars that are in the pictures - and, of course, all of the Edsel's!

Gene , tell her the truth , I am sure everything was black and white at least until the early 60s from my memory

Thanks everyone

Lum , Yeah , I do like that effect , It makes the chrome , wheels etc look more realistic ? , maybe even a bit more indepth ? more pronounced shadows on the cars etc ??

Radiohugger , Cars are mostly Racing champions 1/64 or close , buildings are HO scale
