My first attempt was to paint liquid mask on, leaving holes for the spots, and airbrush them. That way I could have done subtle airbrush shading on the spots. Unfortunately when I did a test, the liquid mask ripped the basecoat and primer off right down to the resin.

So I ended up just hand painting them with craft paints.

I fondly remember seeing that when I was in college. That is a fantastic job, super outstanding. I noticed it at Cult's recently too. They called it something else didn't they, didn't mention the "Wizards" name? They might want to keep it off the licensing radar screens. You did it so well I am going to have to consider getting one myself. It is very cool.

Very cool. The spots and the shading are what grab me. Even Peace's eyes.

Excellent job, JP. Figures may not be your wheelhouse but I'd say this one you nailed.
